This year’s Gala will break the traditional sit-down dinner mold in a brand-new transformative event space. Hosted by Marc "Silvy" Silverman, co-host of Waddle and Silvy on ESPN AM 1000, prepare for an interactive, unforgettable, and remarkable evening amid dazzling lights, sound, and art to support the programs and services that provide a safety net for more than 11,000 survivors of domestic violence and their families each year. With your help, we can eliminate domestic violence in our communities, our families, and our lives.

Each year, the Gala brings together more than 300 supporters from across the Chicagoland area to bring awareness, help stop the spread of domestic violence in our communities, and raise funds for vital programs and services for our most fragile families experiencing domestic violence. A Safe Place provides emergency shelter, affordable housing, court advocacy, community outreach, prevention education, and counseling in the wake of domestic violence.

Your ticket represents you taking a very public stand against domestic violence. This year marks our 8th annual Break the Silence... Unmask the Violence Gala. The Unmask the Violence Gala will be held at the brand-new, unique venue Loft 21 at 1501 North Milwaukee Avenue in Lincolnshire.

Please join us for this exciting evening, which includes fine food, wine, a spectacular silent and live auction, entertainment, and dancing.

RESERVE YOUR TICKETS OR SPONSORSHIPS NOW using the TICKETS tab on the left.

Cocktail attire (suits/ties for men, cocktail dresses for ladies).
The cocktail reception and silent auction starts at 6:30 p.m. Dinner, presentations, live auction, music, and dancing to follow.

About A Safe Place
A Safe Place is the sole provider of services exclusively addressing domestic violence in Lake County, Illinois. Through multi-faceted programs, we assist victims in transforming their lives after domestic violence, prevent future abuse by addressing its root cause through abuser intervention programs, and educate the community about domestic violence and how we can all be involved in its end.

Make a gift that can save a life. The work we do at A Safe Place makes a difference for thousands of victims and their children each year. But we can’t do it without your voice and your continued support.
